The Bear featured in “Sunday Shorts”
My short story, The Bear, is being featured in “Sunday Shorts” a Goodreads group. Thank you to Kriss at www.cabingoddess.com. Definitely check out her blog. She mentions in her profile that she lives in a one room “dry” cabin in Alaska. I thought, “OK. Dry is good. Who’d want to live in one that leaks?” Turns out that “dry” means no running water! What a character! She reviews books and posts recipes with a common theme. For my short story, the theme was Alaska. I’m honored.
Speaking of cabins in Alaska, this photo is a picture of a cabin on Adak that had a rickety old skateboard ramp. That’s me (circa 1981)!
